London man celebrating 'surreal' $1M lotto win

A London man has an extra $1-million in his bank account after winning a recent Maxmillions lottery.

Michael Alexander won the million dollar prize in the June 8, 2021 Lotto Max draw.

The 56-year-old father of one said, at first, he couldn't believe his luck when he checked his ticket with the OLG app on his phone.

"It said I was a big winner, and I didn't believe it. I showed my wife and daughter and told them to check the ticket with the app so they could see it too – my wife did her happy dance," he said. “It was all so surreal!”

He plans to invest and travel with his winnings.
