Guns, drugs seized in raid

London police say they seized two guns, drugs, and a bullet proof vest in a raid at a home in Old East.

Officers raided the home on Dufferin Avenue near Quebec Street on Wednesday morning. According to police, they seized a lever-action rifle, a 12 guage pump shotgun, various rounds of ammunition, a bullet proof vest, four grams of cocaine, three Oxycodone tablets, 20 grams of psilocybin, and 0.2 grams of fentanyl.

An 18-year-old London man is charged with seven counts of possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, three counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance, and one count each of careless storage of a firearm, possession of a restricted firearm without a licence, and possession of a Schedule 2 substance.
