Damage is estimated at $40,000 after a fire sparked in the basement of a residence on Beaconsfield Avenue.
London firefighters were called to the area Sunday evening around 7:48 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
Fire crews said the blaze does not appear to be suspicious. It's believed the fire originated from an appliance or electronic device in the basement.
