Pedestrian struck and killed on Oneida Nation of the Thames

One person is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation.

The Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews responded to the collision on Bodkin Road at around 3 a.m. on Saturday.

OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement is currently investigating the incident.

The identity of the pedestrian has not been released at this time and police said the investigation is in its preliminary stages.
