Cases of COVID-19 confirmed at four Thames Valley schools

On Sunday, the Thames Valley District School Board confirmed that new cases of COVID-19 have been identified at four different local schools.

Bonaventure Meadows Public School currently has four active cases, adding three new cases since Saturday. Meanwhile, Ekcoe Central Public School in Glencoe reported one new case Sunday, along with East Williams Memorial Public School in Ailsa Craig and Hillcrest Public School in London.

All staff, parents and guardians of the school community were immediately notified. The schools will remain open.

Health units investigate cases to identify close contacts and follow up directly to provide specific testing advice.

Only those who are considered to be at risk have been notified to stay home from school and quarantine for 14 days. If you do not receive a letter from the school board, your child is not considered to be at risk. There are currently three active cases associated with the school.
