Charges have been laid in a more than year old sexual assault that saw a woman attacked inside of her Aylmer home.
According to Aylmer police, a 20-year-old woman was at home with a man she had been dating on October 24, 2019 when the two started arguing.
The woman asked the man to leave. He refused and began to choked and sexually assaulted her, police said.
A 21-year-old St. Thomas man, whose name was not released, is charged with sexual assault and overcoming resistance by attempting to choke.
