COVID-19 cases identified at three London area schools

The Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) reported cases of COVID-19 at three schools on Monday.

Individuals at Clara Brenton Public School and Westminster Secondary School in London, along with Caradoc North Public School in Strathroy are the latest schools to confirm cases since schools in the area resumed in-person classes last week.

"Thames Valley wishes to assure the community that all staff, parents and guardians of affected school communities were immediately notified. Health units investigate cases to identify close contacts and follow up directly to provide specific testing advice," the school board said in a statement.

According to the TVDSB, only those identified as close contacts of the affected individuals will be advised to stay home and quarantine for a period of 14 days.

There are currently seven active cases of the virus within the Thames Valley, a full list can be found here.
