'No threat to public safety' as Stanley St. death investigation continues

London police are reassuring the community that there is no threat to public safety as the probe into the death of a man on Stanley Street continues.

Police were called to a two-storey yellow brick house just before noon on Wednesday. The body of a deceased man was found inside.

The man's name, age, and suspected cause of death have not been released.

"There is nothing to indicate a threat to public safety at this time," police said in a statement.

An autopsy is scheduled to take place on Thursday and officers remain on scene.

A section of Stanley was blocked off for several hours following the discovery. Yellow police tape was used to cordoned off the home and officers were seen going door-to-door canvassing neighbours for information.
