Police in St. Thomas have charged a man with one count of possession of child pornography.
According to police, a 58-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop on Talbot Street on Tuesday following a months-long investigation executed by multiple jurisdictions including the Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
According to police, the man is alleged to have used free Wi-Fi from various motels in southwestern Ontario to download the illicit images.
The man, whose name was not released, was taken into custody without incident and later released on an undertaking with court date.
