London man wins big on lotto scratch ticket

One lucky London man is kicking off his holiday break $900,000 richer.

Ramon Castillo Vargas, a 47-year-old construction worker said he purchased the last Bigger Spin instant scratch ticket left on display and decided to check the ticket in store where he realized he won a spin prize.

"I handed [the ticket] to the retailer and had no idea what was happening when it landed on Bigger Spin.” Vargas shared.

The London local, who admitted he is a shy person said he could barely contain his excitement when he walked into the OLG Prize Centre to spin the wheel.

"This is really something special. I'm so happy," Vargas expressed.

With his winnings, Vargas plans to pay off some bills and hopes to take a family vacation when it's safe again.
