Police search for driver after vehicle hits house

London police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck that crashed into a house in the northeast-end.

Emergency crews were called to the single-storey home at 30 Elliott St., north of Oxford Street shortly before 3 a.m. on Monday. A dark-coloured pickup truck had crashed into the front of the house.

Fortunately, no one was home at the time.

The driver of the vehicle was gone when police arrived on scene.

Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the driver. Police have since determined the licence plates on the truck were stolen

The investigation is ongoing.
