Toddler killed in collision identified by police

Police have released the identity of a two-year-old who died after being struck by a vehicle in Zorra Township.

The Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews responded to a residential property on 25th Line on Saturday at around 10:10 p.m. after Nash Barnett of Zorra Township was hit by the vehicle.

The toddler was rushed to hospital by ambulance to be treated for life-threatening injuries. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.

No further information about the collision has been released at this time.
