Toddler dies in Zorra Township collision

A two-year-old has passed away following a collision in Zorra Township on Saturday night.

Around 10:10 p.m., Oxford County provincial police responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on 25th Line.

Members of the OPP, Zorra Fire Services and Oxford County Emergency Medical Services attended the scene.

According to police, the initial investigation determined that a two-year-old was struck by a vehicle and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The toddler was later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased is being withheld as police continue their investigation.
