There was one additional case of COVID-19 reported in the London area on Monday.

The London region has not had a COVID-19 related death since June 12. The death toll stands at 57.

In Elgin and Oxford counties, there were zero new infections reported on Monday. The area's total case count is unchanged at 247. Provincially, more than 100 new cases were confirmed on Monday. This is the fourth straight day Ontario's day-to-day tally reached three figures.

Public health officials said there were an additional 105 people who tested positive over the last 24 hours. That brings the province's total number of cases to 41,507. Monday's case count is less than Sunday's when 115 new infections were reported.
