One dead after single-vehicle collision

A London man has died following a crash in Thames Centre.

Middlesex County OPP responded to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Westchester Bourne near Thompson Drive around 1 p.m. Friday. According to police, a lone motor vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver was treated at the scene and transported to a local area hospital by members of the Middlesex-London EMS. The driver later died in hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.

The deceased has been identified as 56-year-old Aaron Fallowfield from London.

Members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team are assisting with the investigation.
