Pedestrian, motorcyclist seriously hurt in north London crash

Two men were rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a motorcycle hit a pedestrian in north London on Wednesday afternoon.

London police were called to the intersection of Highbury Avenue and Kilally Road around 1:30 p.m.

The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries, while the motorcyclist is said to be in serious, but stable condition. Both were taken to hospital.

Highbury Avenue between Edgevalley Road and Townsend Drive and Kilally Road between Wintergarden Road and Webster Street were closed while police investigated the collision. The roads have since been reopened.
