One person is in hospital following a fire at a south London apartment building.
Firefighters were called to a highrise at 1671 Jalna Boulevard just before 4 p.m. Saturday. The fire was contained to a first floor unit within the building.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire and said the unit sustained extensive damage. Paramedics arrived to take one person to the hospital for treatment.
Other details including the cause of the fire have not been released. The London Fire Department said the investigation is ongoing.
