Man arrested twice in just over 24 hours for separate break-ins

Charges have been laid after London police arrested the same man twice in just over 24 hours in connection with two separate break and enters.

The first break-in happened at a business at 1712 Dundas St. on Saturday night. Police arrived on scene and arrested a suspect. He was later released with a June court date.

Police were called to the second break and enter around 1 a.m. on Monday at a business at 155 Clarke Rd., near Trafalgar Street. With the help of the canine unit, a suspect was arrested inside the building. Investigators later determined the suspect was the same individual who had been arrested in relation to the Dundas break-in on Saturday.

A 36-year-old London man is charged with break and enter with intent, break and enter to commit mischief, and possession of break-in instruments. He was scheduled to appear in London court on Monday.
