Provincial police have determined that a death near the shore in Port Bruce was not suspicious.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Colin Street and Beach Drive around 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday. No other details about the death have been released, but the OPP forensics identification section did go to the scene to investigate.
The deceased individual's family is being notified about the death.
An autopsy will be conducted at a later date and foul play is not suspected, according to police.
