Knights stomp Sting 4-1

The London Knights beat the Sarnia Sting 4-1 on Friday to extend their win streak to five games.

Liam Foudy scored 10:56 into the game to put London on the board first, but the Sting responded early in the second with a goal of their own to tie the game. Connor McMichael scored 13:24 into the second to put the Knights back in the and Alec Regula added another with just over two minutes left in the frame to make it 3-1.

McMichael capped off the win for London by scoring one final goal 11:08 into the third.

Knights goaltender Brett Brochu made 20 saves out of 21 shots on net.

The Knights will look to continue their winning momentum when they take on the Owen Sound Attack on Saturday. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. in Owen Sound.
