Knights edge Storm 4-3 in OT

The London Knights topped the Guelph Storm 4-3 in overtime in OHL action on Wednesday.

The Storm scored twice in the first period to take a 2-0 lead heading into the second where Connor McMichael scored to put London the board 3:46 into the frame.

Antonio Stranges scored for the Knights early in the third to tie the game and Billy Moskal scored just over six minutes into the period to give London the lead. The Storm scored with just over five minutes left in the third to tie things up again and force overtime.

Jason Willms scored the game-winner for London 4:32 into OT.

Knights goaltender Brett Brochu made 27 saves out of 30 shots on net.

The Knights are on home ice again on Friday to battle the Soo Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m.
