Knights fall to the Storm 5-3

The London Knights dropped a 5-3 decision to the Guelph Storm in OHL action on Friday.

After a scoreless first period, Alec Regula put the Knights on the board with a goal 3:09 into the second. However, the Storm quickly responded with a goal of their own just over two minutes later. Regula scored his second of the night late in the frame, but Guelph took a 3-2 lead after scoring two goals just under seven minutes into the third.

Regula completed a hat-trick by scoring 8:41 into the final frame, but the Storm clinched the win by scoring another two unanswered goals in the final minute of the game.

Knights goaltender Dylan Myskiw made 31 saves.

The Knights will look to bounce back at home on Wednesday when they take on the Storm again at 7 p.m.
