Travellers will soon have access to daily, non-stop flights between London and Winnipeg.
It was announced Friday that Swoop will be offering flights each day between the London International Airport and Winnipeg's James Armstrong Richardson International Airport.
“We have seen a lot of demand for Winnipeg from passengers in Southwestern Ontario, so we are pleased to offer non-stop service to Winnipeg with Swoop,” said Michael Seabrook, President and CEO of London International Airport. “We are glad to see Swoop succeed in London and we hope passengers continue to take advantage of Swoop’s ultra-low cost fares.”
The daily flights to Winnipeg mark the seventh destination offered by Swoop from London. Swoop currently offers flights to Abbotsford, Edmonton, and Halifax, as well as seasonal flights to Las Vegas, Orlando, and Cancun.
The daily flights to Winnipeg will begin on April 26, 2020.
