Petes edge Knights 3-2

The London Knights' win streak came to an end at seven games after dropping a 3-2 decision to the Peterborough Petes on Thursday.

After a scoreless first period, the Petes were first on the board with a goal 11:49 into the second. Antonio Stranges scored for London 14:16 into the frame to tie things up, but Peterborough added another late in the period to retake the lead.

The Petes added another goal 5:16 into the final frame, but Stranges scored his second of the night for London at the 11:28 minute make to make it a one-goal game. Unfortunately, the Knights fell to Peterborough after being unable to tie the game in the final minutes to force overtime.

Knights goaltender Dylan Myskiw made 29 saves out of 32 shots on net.

The Knights return home on Friday to take on the Owen Sound Attack at 7:30 p.m.
