Grammy-winning singer-songwriters James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt will make a stop in London this spring.
The pair, along with their bands, will bring their Coast to Coast Canadian Tour to Budweiser Gardens on April 25. It is one of 12 stops on the tour which kicks off in Victoria, British Columbia on April 14 and ends in St. John’s, Newfoundland on May 5.
The tour is in celebration of Taylor and Raitt's decades-long friendship.
Taylor has been performing for more than 40 years, selling more than 100 million albums worldwide. His baritone voice and distinctive style of guitar-playing have earned him five Grammy Awards. The "You've Got a Friend" singer was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. In 2012, Taylor was awarded the Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government and the National Medal of Arts by President Barack Obama. Three years later, he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honour.
Raitt is a ten-time Grammy winner, best know for her songs "Something to Talk About", "Love Sneakin' Up on You", and "I Can't Make You Love Me." She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 and has been named one of the “100 Greatest Singers of All Time” and one of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" by Rolling Stone.
