Body of missing man found

The months-long search for a missing 23-year-old man has ended tragically after he was found dead in London.

The London Police Service said a citizen located a body of a man in an outdoor area on private property near Sarnia Road and Hyde Park Road, on Thursday at around 4:20 p.m. An autopsy that was conducted Friday has confirmed that the deceased man is Lucas Alexander Teams, who had been missing since April 17.

Police first asked for the public's help to locate Teams on April 24 and said there was concern for his welfare.  He was last seen on April 14 at around 6 p.m. at the Rexall Pharmacy on Beaverbrook Avenue near Wonderland Road North.

The London police Major Crime Section has conducted an investigation and there is no indication of foul play in the death.

No further information has been released at this time.
