Two men seriously injured following 'disturbance' at London park

Two men are in critical condition in hospital after they were injured during a "disturbance" at Jessie Davidson Park in London.

The London Police Service hasn't released many details regarding what transpired at the Viscount Road park, but said officers found one of the men suffering from serious injuries shortly after 6:58 p.m. on Tuesday.  The second man was later located in a local hospital suffering from serious life-threatening injuries. Police said Wednesday that the men were injured as a result of an altercation with each other.

Police said this is believed to have been an isolated incident and no one else was involved. There is no further threat to public safety, police added.

The London police Major Crime Section is conducting an investigation, which is still in its early stages. No charges have been laid at this time.
