London police are looking for a man and a woman after a teen's stolen debit card was used several times.
According to police, around 8 p.m. on May 21, the victim and a friend were in the area of Ponderosa Crescent, when a green Ford Focus approached. A man wearing a black balaclava and armed with a hatchet got out and robbed the victim of his backpack, which contained his wallet.
The victim wasn't hurt.
"Police were contacted, and the area was searched with negative results," police said in a media release. "The investigation was reassigned to members of the Street Crime Unit."
On May 25, police got a call after the victim found out that several fraudulent purchases were made with his debit card. Police obtained surveillance photos of a female suspect.
Police are looking for both the man who robbed the teen and the woman who used his debit card.
The male suspect is described as Caucasian, 30-40 years of age, about 5'10" to 6'0" tall, 180-200 pounds, with a bald head. He may have a tattoo on one of his forearms.
The female suspect (pictured above) is described as Caucasian, 30-35 years of age, with black shoulder length hair with bangs, and a slim build. She was wearing a jean jacket, black tank top, black leggings, and pink flip flops.
