London police are providing some answers after emergency services personnel descended on an east London housing complex on Tuesday.
Around 3 p.m., London police, London firefighters, and Middlesex-London paramedics responded to a residence on Hamilton Road where police had discovered what appeared to be a dormant drug synthesis lab. Several cruisers, fire trucks, and ambulances were on the scene for several hours. According to police, it was quickly determined that there was no risk to public safety.
The investigation is ongoing and police have said they expect to release more information on Wednesday afternoon.
