Human trafficking charges laid against Brampton man

A London human trafficking investigation has ended with half a dozen charges being laid against a 29-year-old Brampton man.

Andrew Marcel Frazer was arrested by London police last Friday. He has since been charged with advertising another person's sexual services, assault with a weapon, financial/material benefit/trafficking person under 18, obtaining sexual services for consideration from a person under 18, sexual assault, and trafficking in persons under 18 by exercising control.

Frazer was scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on Monday.

No details surrounding the investigation have been released.

Frazer is the third Brampton man in less than a month to be charged with human trafficking offences in London.

Javon Reid, 24, and Jevone Brown, 26, of Brampton were arrested in mid-May for allegedly trafficking a teenage girl in the city four years ago. They are both charged with trafficking of a person under the age of 18, sexual interference with person under 16 years of age, sexual assault as party to offence with other person, obtaining sexual services for consideration from person under 18 years, financial/material benefit/trafficking person under 18, and advertising another person’s sexual services.
