Twin brothers charged in drug bust

Twin brothers are charged after police raided two London homes and a vehicle and seized a loaded gun and $24,000 worth of drugs.

Officers with the London police guns and drugs section searched the homes on Huron Street and Village Green Avenue, as well as the vehicle, on Thursday. Items seized include 101 grams of methamphetamine, 12 oxycodone tablets, five hydromorphone tablets, two hydromorph contin capsules, 35 grams of fentanyl, a loaded .22 calibre revolver, a taser, ammunition, and a quantity of cash.

Two 33-year-old London men, who police said are twin brothers, were arrested.

They are charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

One faces additional charges of possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, possession of a prohibited device knowing no authority, and possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.

The brothers are scheduled to appear in London court Friday.
