Titans topple Lightning 119-95 in Game 1

The London Lightning fell short in their NBLC playoff series opener in a 119-95 loss against the KW Titans on Thursday.

The Lightning took a 31-26 advantage by the end of the first quarter and held a 51-47 lead as the game entered halftime. In a back-and-forth third frame, the Titans took a two-point lead by the end of the frame and then in the fourth, they surged ahead in the final five minutes to win with a 24-point advantage.

Garrett Williamson led London with 22 points and four rebounds, while Anthony "AJ" Gaines Jr. had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Marvin Phillips also put up 13 points and Maurice Bolden added another 10.

The series continues on Tuesday with Game 2 at 7 p.m. in London.
