London man hospitalized after fight

A London man is fighting for his life after an argument turned physical early Sunday morning.

London police say the incident happened shortly after 1 a.m. Officers were called to the area of Talbot St. and King St. in the downtown area on a report of a fight. Two men started arguing, then throwing punches, resulting in a 26-year-old man receiving serious, life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to Victoria Hospital where his condition remains the same.

A 28-year-old London man is charged with aggravated assault and is expected to answer to the charge in court on Monday.
