'A Combination Of Blues And Classic Rock'

Lovers of blues music and classic rock will be in for a treat this weekend.

London's Bluesfest kicks off Thursday night and runs through Sunday in Harris Park. Opening night acts include Dizzy Reed's Hookers and Blow, Dead Daisies, and the Sheepdogs.

"The rest of the weekend is great with Foghat playing Friday night and Savoy Brown," said Bluesfest artistic director Ron Schroeyens. "On Saturday we have Colin James and Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad playing all those great Grand Funk hits. And on Sunday we've got Blue Oyster Cult and, sort of the big man on board, Kenny Wayne Shepherd."

Tickets are still on sale and cost $46 for a general admission single-day ticket ($81 for VIP), $76 for a two-day pass ($136 VIP), and $126 for a four-day pass ($226 VIP).
