A London man reported missing Tuesday evening was found after he was hit by a train.
Peter Catterson, 87, was reported missing from a nursing home in the area of Horton St. and Wellington around 8:45pm. A little more than an hour later, as police searched for him, witnesses reported seeing a man crossing the tracks near the VIA Rail station on York St. CN Rail called police after a train hit the man.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found him conscious and breathing. He was taken to hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
