Provincial police have identified a 64-year-old man from Middlesex Centre as the motorcyclist killed in a crash west of Stratford.
Lawrence Shepherd was heading south on Perth Rd. 164 when his motorcycle was hit by an SUV travelling west on Perth Line 20 just after 1pm on Sunday. A third vehicle was indirectly involved in the collision, said Perth OPP.
Shepherd was pronounced dead at the scene.
The intersection was closed for roughly six hours but has since been reopened.
The OPP continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
