Police in St. Thomas say they have made an arrest after a vehicle hit a police cruiser earlier this month.
Officers say they arrested a 51-year-old woman at around 8pm Monday during a traffic stop on Woodworth Ave. in St. Thomas in connection with their investigation.
Police say the woman is accused of ramming a police cruiser when an officer was trying to stop her on April 7. No injuries were reported at that time and the damage to the cruiser was estimated at $1,000.
Officers say they made the arrest on Monday after seeing the woman driving her vehicle back into town.
She was later released with a future court date.
