Woodstock Stabbing Leaves Man Critical

A 42-year-old Woodstock man is in critical condition after a stabbing in the city's west-end.

Woodstock police were called about an injured man in the area of Light St., near Dundas St. around 7:30pm on Monday. When emergency crews arrived on scene they found a man with stab wounds.

The man was rushed to hospital and as of Tuesday afternoon was still listed as being in critical condition.

Police are searching for a suspect but did not provide a description. The investigation has been turned over to the Criminal Investigation Branch.
