Teen Charged With Drunk Driving After Crash

London police say a 17-year-old is facing drunk driving charges after a crash that injured two women.

Around 11:15pm Tuesday, police say a pick-up truck and a car collided on Trafalgar St. near Veterans Memorial Pkwy.

A 25-year-old woman in the truck suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A 21-year-old woman in the car suffered minor injuries.

Police allege the 17-year-old male driver of the pick-up was legally drunk.

He's charged with driving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in blood causing bodily harm and driving while ability impaired causing bodily harm.

The driver was also charged with possession of a Schedule 2 substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
