Knights Edge Petes 4-3

The London Knights topped the Peterborough Petes 4-3 in OHL action on Thursday.

The Petes drew first blood with the only goal of the first period, but London tied things up with Liam Foudy scoring early in the second.

Peterborough scored again the take a 2-1 lead heading into the third, but Sergey Popov scored for the Knights 6:22 into the third to tie things up once again.

The Petes scored 11:28 into the third to gain the lead for the third time, but Nathan Dunkley and Alex Formenton both scored in the second half of the period to earn the win for London.

Knights goaltender Joseph Raaymakers made 38 saves out of 41 shots on net.

The Knights are back on the ice on Friday to face off against the Kingston Frontenacs. The puck drops in Kingston at 7pm.
