67's Double Knights 4-2

Alex Formenton scored twice for London, but the Knights fell 4-2 to the Ottawa 67's on Friday at Budweiser Gardens.

Formenton kicked off the game for the Knights with a goal 1:28 into the first period, however, Ottawa scored to tie things up at 1-1 heading into the second. The 67's scored another two back-to-back goals in the second frame to take the lead.

Formenton scored his second of the night 10:44 into the third to bring the Knights within one goal, but Ottawa scored with just 49 seconds left in the game to cap off their win.

Despite the loss, London outshot Ottawa 33-24.

The Knights are on home ice again on Sunday to battle the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at 2pm.
