Knights Top IceDogs 3-2 In OT

The London Knights beat the Niagara IceDogs 3-2 in overtime on Friday.

Liam Foudy gave London a 1-0 lead 16:19 into the first period, but Niagara tied things up with a goal of their own late in the second. The Knights regained their advantage thanks to Harrison Cottam who scored 4:21 into the third, but again the IceDogs scored to tie things up and force overtime.

Alex Formenton scored the game-winner for London 4:01 into extra time.

London goaltender Joseph Raaymakers made 31 saves out of 33 shots on net.

The Knights are back on the ice on Tuesday to face off against the Kitchener Rangers. The puck drops at 7pm in London.
