The London Knights dropped a 3-2 decision in a shootout with the Flint Firebirds on Thursday.
The Firebirds drew first blood with a goal 13:51 into the game, but Sam Miletic and Evan Bouchard both scored late in the second period to give London a 2-1 lead.
Just after eight minutes into the third, the Firebirds scored their second goal of the night to tie the game and ultimately force overtime. After no scoring in OT, Flint earned the win in a shootout.
The Firebirds outshot the Knights 46-21.
The Knights will head to Sarnia next on Sunday to battle the Sting at 2:05pm.
