Londoners Accused Of Passing Fake Prescriptions

A London man and woman are being accused of using fake prescriptions to try to get narcotics from pharmacies.

Lambton OPP began investigating the fraudulent activity at the end of October when a man and woman tried to pass a prescription for a restricted medication at a drug store in Petrolia. Further investigation found a couple matching the same description tried to get narcotics from other area pharmacies using the same phoney prescription.

Arrest warrants for a 30-year-old London woman and a 21-year-old London man were issued Wednesday. The pair are wanted for trafficking in a narcotic. The woman is also wanted for fraud under $5,000.
