Police say a man is in serious condition after being shot in south London.
Emergency crews were called to a home on Nixon Ave. near Ferndale Ave. around 4:30am Saturday. A man had been shot and, according to police, was taken to hospital by a citizen. He is currently in serious condition in hospital after undergoing surgery for gunshot wounds.
"A number of people were seen running from the scene following the shooting, however at this time no arrests have been made," police said in a statement issued Saturday morning.
Police say the investigation has been turned over to the Major Crimes Unit.
