Frontenacs Blank Knights 5-0

The London Knights were shutout 5-0 by the Kingston Frontenacs Friday night at Budweiser Gardens.

Kingston scored a 1-0 lead in the first period and extended it to 4-0 by the end of the second. The Frontenacs added one more unanswered goal in the final frame to complete the shutout.

Knights goaltender Jordan Kooy made 14 saves out of 17 shots on net before London sent out Tyler Johnson to the net early in the second.  Johnson made another 14 saves as well, letting in two goals.

The Knights will travel to Oshawa to take on the Generals on Sunday at 6:05pm.
