A 33-year-old London man has been charged in connection to a stabbing in the east-end that sent a woman to hospital on Tuesday.
London police were called to a home on Hamilton Rd., near Gore Rd. around 3pm in relation to the incident. Officers found a woman who had been stabbed multiple times. She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and has since been released.
Investigators also recovered a weapon.
Police said on Wednesday, a 33-year-old man, who had been arrested at the scene, has now been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The man and woman do know each other. As such, police said they will not release the name of the man to protect the woman's identity.
