Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm watch for London-Middlesex, Elgin County, and Oxford County.
Scattered thunderstorms were forecasted to develop in the region Friday afternoon, according to the weather agency.
Wet weather could also stick around on Saturday with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Sunshine returns on Sunday.
It is recommended by the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management that anyone who is outdoors when threatening weather approaches take cover immediately.
