Police were searching for a man after a sexual assault was reported around 2:20 am Saturday, July 1 in the area of Richmond St. and John St.
Police announced on Saturday, July 8 that the man came to the police station to identify himself.
According to police, the victim did not suffer any physical injuries.
Police also say that there is no concern for public safety as the investigation continues.
