Police Probing Suspicious Fires

London police are looking for answers after a series of suspicious fires at an east end apartment complex.

Police and fire crews were called to 130 Connaught Ave. around 9am Saturday. The hallway of the fourth floor of the apartment building was filled with smoke that was coming from a small fire that had been put out before crews arrived.

Police say investigation revealed that the fire had been intentionally set. They also determined there have been other suspicious fires in the complex that have not been reported to police.

The matter is now in the hands of the Criminal Investigation Division.
